Our first white wine is now on the shelf at Spec’s.
We’re proud to share that our 2025 Estate Roussanne has been selected by Spec’s. It joins our Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tannat, bringing the number of Hye Top wines available at select Spec’s locations to four.
Roussanne is a special wine for our family. We planted it in 2015, and for years the fruit was in such high demand that it left the vineyard. With the 2025 vintage, we finally kept it for our own production, and it became the first white wine to carry the Hye Top label.
A Silver Medal at the 2026 Pacific Rim Wine Competition
Our Roussanne was honored with a silver medal at the 2026 Pacific Rim Wine Competition. For a small, family-run winery in the Texas Hill Country, recognition like this for our very first white is deeply meaningful.
What to Expect in the Glass
Roussanne is a Rhône varietal, challenging to grow but known for its rich, herbal bouquet and bright acidity. Ours is a full-bodied white with beautiful floral notes and a crisp finish.
Enjoy it on its own or paired with a wide variety of cuisines. It is lovely with both hard and soft cheeses and all types of fish and shellfish, especially salmon and trout, and it pairs well with roasted pork and herbed vegetable dishes featuring nuts. Serve it lightly chilled.

You can also taste it with us at the vineyard. The tasting room is open the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 11 AM to 5 PM. Plan your visit.
