Meet the Maker: spend a fall afternoon on the hilltop with our winemaker, Bénédicte Rhyne.

Bénédicte grew up in Aix-en-Provence, earned her master’s in oenology in Dijon, and got her start at Château Pétrus in Bordeaux. After a harvest in New Zealand, she spent a decade on the winemaking team at Ravenswood in Sonoma. In 2002 she brought her family to Fredericksburg, where she went on to make wine for Mesa Vineyards and Kuhlman Cellars and consult for wineries across Texas and Oklahoma; she also teaches winemaking at Texas Tech. Today she is building Rhyne Wines with her family, crafting Texas wines in the style of her native Provence.

The 2024s. Our 2024 Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Super Texan have been getting wonderful reviews. There is no better way to taste them than alongside the person who made them.

Older vintages on sale. Several of our earlier vintages are specially priced right now. Sample them at the tasting room and take home your favorites.

For club members. The 2022 Field Blend and 2021 Texas Two-Step are reserved for members. Club members also take 10% off every purchase, including sale wines and new releases, and 15% on cases of twelve or more. Joining the club is free, and you can sign up at the door.
