We’re proud of our Texas heritage and excited to be part of the Texas Hill country AVA, and your Hill Country experience.

Otto Scherrer, who conducted the original survey (mid 19th century) of the property that is now Hye Top vineyards, is buried in the historic Post Oak cemetery just 2 miles from the property.

President Lyndon B Johnson called this area home. His ranch, just to our west, became LBJ State Park and is a great place to visit.

Nearby Fredericksburg has worked hard to maintain its 19th century architecture on its historic Main Street. It is a very popular, strolling, shopping, and dining destination.
